This bronze "World Trophy" continues to symbolize excellence in the world of amateur athletics. My version of the "World Trophy" was originally awarded to such atheletes as Steffi Graff, Greg Le Mond, Midori Ito and others by the Los Angeles Amateur Athletic Foundation in conjuction with the 1984 Olympic Games which were held in Los Angeles.
